Joseph E. Morgan and Ella Swin were married April 24. New fixtures for W. M. Heaths barber shop arrived and were installed. About half the county windmills were blown down in last week’s storm. The James Pilmer farm barn was blown about six inches off its foundation.

Bakery to Be Opened in Anita and Local Birth Report
70 years ago on April 20, 1892 Anita announced a new bakery to be established. A baby boy was born to AG Todhunter and his wife on April 19. The town now has a resident dentist with years of experience who will settle permanently, and Walter Faulkner has returned from Milwaukee after attending business college.
