The class of 1927 lists 56 graduates, 21 girls and 15 boys, the largest yet, with no motto or flower but colors Old Rose and Snow. Des Moines May 4 Iowa counties adopt new highway law to fund county road bonds through the primary road fund with no county cost. Plans target paving from Des Moines toward Perry Waukee Adel and the Lincoln highway linking Des Moines to New York City.

Anita High School Alumni Banquet Set for May 20
The Anita High School Alumni Association announces the first alumni banquet on Friday evening May 20 at 6 30 in the Ceristian church dining room. Afterward entertainment will be at the K P hall.
