Anita High School debater wins district contest title
Feb 9 Griswold High School hosted the Seventh District American Legion Oratorical Contest where Mark Huff, son of Donald and Mrs. Huff of Anita and a member of Anita High School varsity debate, won first place with an oration titled I Am the Constitution. The piece credited his preparation and mastery.

Couple celebrates sixtieth anniversary near Anita
The sixty year old couple will settle at the old Morgan homestead northwest of Anita. The Whitney real estate in Anita will soon go to market with bargains expected. A heavy snow storm struck the area last Saturday night dumping several inches before melted by warm weather.
