Mrs Alice Quinn Howard Dies In Atlantic Area
Mrs Alice Quinn Howard a longtime Lenox and Atlantic resident died early Sunday at Atlantic Memorial hospital after a brief illness born November 24 1905 in Lenox. She married Roberta Howard in 1927 and lived in Lenox Anita before moving to Atlantic to run a clothing store. Survived by her husband four brothers and one sister funeral Tuesday at Atlantic’s Methodist church with burial in Anita Evergreen Cemetery.

The Anita teams defeated Elliott in a Saturday doubleheader. The high school girls won 52 to 39 led by Jewett with 34 points and Arneth 15. The junior high girls won 31 to 14 with Dorsey scoring 19. The school plans a Test Poll on school expansion at next Monday’s election, with results nonbinding.
