Denham Galiher wedding surprises Griswold area
Paul Denham, local insurer, and Kathryn Galiher of Anita wed at the Presbyterian minister’s home in Council Bluffs. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. DuVall of Omaha. They honeymooned in Omaha then returned to Griswold to establish a home in the Maggie Floto property. Kathryn educated in Anita. Paul active in American Legion.

Mrs Elma Worthing James born July 15 1872 in Kansas died June 15 1925 near Fort Worth Texas at 52 years 10 months and 27 days while traveling with her husband en route to Anita She was daughter of the late George Worthing and came to Anita in 1884 She married Ernest Boyd in 1896 who died eight months later In 1904 she married W S James and lived in Denver and San Antonio She is survived by her husband and two sisters Edna Scarlett Benton township Iowa Madge Stauffacher Cedar Rapids Iowa Funeral held at her aunt Mrs F O Worthing home with Rev B W McEldowney Evergreen cemetery.
