County Voters to Decide on 1.5 Million Road Bond

Voters will cast ballots on a $1,500,000 road bond issue aimed at draining and paving several county roads. The plan, mapped by county representatives and approved by supervisors, includes routes No. 32 east from the county line and No. 71 south from its junction with No. 2, with spurs connecting Griswold, Cumberland, and other points. New Automobile Insurance Law Takes Effect This July

County Nurse Reports Activities in Cass County Schools

Atlantic June 5. Mrs Ann Garrard public health nurse completed three months in county schools last Friday. She visited 25 schools, 84 homes, 68 classroom inspections, 16 classroom talks, spoke to 250 parents and 49 others, and organized 15 days of summer roundups. 726 pupils examined, 595 notices sent, 210 referred to physicians, 50 excluded, 414 referred to dentists.
