Mrs Ganelle Richter daughter of Mr and Mrs Ralph Richter spoke on the KMA station Shenandoah Tuesday evening at 645. She discussed her work with the Gay Grant 4H girls and won the American Legion Atlantic Day contest with the topic Our Great American Heritage. Memorial Day Dinner and Services Held in Anita

Local Masons To Attend Convention In Sioux City
Iowa's 84 803 Masons will assemble at Sioux City's Masonic Temple June 8 9 and 10 for the 104th Annual Communication of the Iowa Masonic Grand Lodge. More than 800 representatives are expected from 645 subordinate lodges within the Grand Lodge jurisdiction. Grand Master J W Gray of Mount Pleasant will preside. The annual School of Instruction will be conducted by the Board of Custodians at the temple on June 4 6 and 7.

Local youths arrested after illegal parking sighted
Several youths were arrested in Anita after a Highway Patrolman found a car parked illegally and discovered alcohol consumption. They admitted buying beer from local dealer Walt Inhofe. Inhofe was released on $500 bond. The case heads to October grand jury. The car owner received a fine for double parking.

Greater Anita Club Holds First May Meeting at Lutheran Church
