Bill Scholl son of Mr and Mrs Lester Scholl from Anita Iowa has been chosen manager of Leed’s newest store in North Hollywood California. He rose from farm boy to store leader through service in four Leed’s outlets and five years in the Army. He previously helped boost sales at Leed’s Hollywood and Van Nuys before taking on an assistant managerial post in Albuquerque.

The Cass County Conservation Club hosts its seventh annual Kids Fish Day at the Russell Hines ponds one mile north of Cumberland on County B road. About 2500 bullheads will be stocked by the state commission. 2000 children attended last year, and 2000 is expected again. Rods are not allowed. free admission with children bringing only a fishing pole.
