Ten years ago the late Charles Scholl celebrated an 82nd birthday. Ted Darrow sold the Wheeler property on Mai Street to Chris Reisgaard near Exin. Ellin Thompson and Roy Aupperle announced marriages with Elvin and Joanne Thompson, and Joye Aupperle with Robert Hager. Editors Margaret and David Ash led the paper as Bud Johnson joined Laurenskil staff as linotype operator replacing Gerald Ponty Pendarvis.
