The U E Church notes sisters from a neighboring church visiting during their pastor's absence. The organist Mrs Mayme Wilbourn was sick last Sunday, hindering worship. Quarterly Conference dates are August 16-17 November 1-2 and January 24-25. Ladies cleaned the lecture room and plan to scrub the audience room next.

Marquis visits family from Iowa head engineer at sanitarium
Clyde Marquis from Oakdale Iowa and head engineer at the Tuberculosis Sanitarium traveled Friday to visit his mother Mrs C V Beaver. His wife now in Clarinda joined the family gathering and accompanied him to the visit.
