Anita Spartans win county tourney after 27 years

Anita High School boys basketball team the Spartana captured the county tournament title for the first time in 27 years. John L. Jensen of Kimballton and Elmer G. Carlson of Audubon ran as Democratic nominees for U S Representative from the seventh district, with Ben F. Jensen as Republican incumbent. Margaret and David Ash edited the Anita Tribune, the local newspaper.
