Local Socials and Club Notes From Town
Mr and Virgil Eliete hosted friends Sunday evening with cards and conversation. Guests included Mr and Mrs Kirk Shoemaker Mr and Mrs Paul Brown and Mr and Mrs Joe Vetterer Mrs O W Shaffer hosted Quilt Club Tuesday with a social afternoon and lunch. A Bible Study Club formed at the Christian Church with first meeting January 22 at Mrs John Witte home. Mrs E Dorsey elected president and meetings set for every two weeks with next gathering February 5 at Mrs Paul Henderson’s home.

Friendly Circle holds surprise party for Mrs. Johnson
The Friendly Circle met at Mrs. Harry Johnsons home on Friday afternoon before her move to Atlantic.
