Funeral services for Dan L. Rechtenbach age 74 were held Friday at Bridgewater Christian Church with Rev. Donald L. Jensen officiating. Interment was at Fontanelle Cemetery beside his wife Lucy. The service featured organ music by Mrs. Mary Fitch and included a luncheon for relatives and friends at the church parlors.

Mary Jo Reichardt of Massena will soon open a beauty shop in Bridgewater in the basement of the former Kenneth Jenkins produce building. The shop will be in the west rooms of the basement, after a thorough refinishing and modernization. Also noted are brief health and travel updates about local residents and a church note on Rev. L.
