Congregational Church Holds Its Annual Meeting
The Congregational Church and Congregation held its annual meeting on Wednesday evening January 6. Supper by the ladies followed by reports showed growth and improvements. officers were elected including clerk Zate Biggs and treasurer H R Robison. Several members spoke, and notable visitors included Mrs Eli King and Warren McDermott from Stuart.

Mrs R Wolfkill and child from Des Moines visit with her sisters Mrs Henry Picken and Mrs E Krause and families. Thursday marked the fortieth birthday of Mrs Charles Bartley and many old neighbors came to surprise her. Mr and Mrs D E Milford Mr and Mrs S J Crane Mrs A D Beckhart Mrs May Gingery Mrs J W Lamb Mrs Lee McCuen and W J Tobias and wife from east of Anita attended. the surprise was complete.
