Court orders Stoner estate to pay tax in Atlantic session

Big Corn Show to Be Held at Ames
The twenty first annual state corn show will be held in Ames during Farm and Home week from January 29 to February 2 under the Iowa Corn and Small Grain Growers association. The event, the largest state show in the country, expects to top last year’s 15 000 ears on display. County Attorney Seeks Injunction in Whitmore Farm Case

Northern Iowa game wardens report record arrests
Hy M Guy of Osage cites Deputy Warden E J Willis of Riceville who has held the post twelve years as reporting the highest monthly arrests. Willis with Deputies Tom Kelley of Osage and Monplasure of Mason City totaled forty one arrests across Floyd Howard and Mitchell counties. Last week George and Cole Howard fined twenty five dollars each for hunting without a license while Rick and Howard were fined ninety dollars each for the same offense and pheasants. Four men south of Floyd were fined two hundred dollars each for spearing fish on Friday night.
