Out spotlight this week highlights Susan Olson daughter of Delbert and Mrs Olson of Cumberland. She centers on music and speech with seven years in the band and four in the chorus. She participated in small group contest jazz band and contest speech and the all school play. She was in Home Economics Club three years and is active in LYC and the American Legion Auxiliary. Next fall she hopes to attend college with an undecided field of study and aims to be a good person with a successful job. She urges underclassmen to enjoy high school and give their best. Her pet peeve is someone thinking they are superior to others and in spare time she sews or sings. Her favorite teachers are Mrs Sanders and Mrs Wohlenhaus.

Plans include a January noon soup dinner and sewing boots and bibs for veterans.
