A sand glacier that began moving north from Medora township Reno county last year has paused after the Little Arkansas River dammed by its flow. Des Moines plans an interurban line to Indianola eighteen miles southeast. Engineers will survey the Des Moines Indianola route, with Newton line the first to be built. If bond market conditions permit, work starts next spring. Indianola line may follow after Newton opens.
