Cass County Fair announced a ballloon ascent by Miss Tillie Hazel aged twenty one on September 12 with a parachute jump from a fearful height. The item recalls the “leap for life” memory. Cemetery work requires removing all shrubs and flowers in August
Due to cemetery expansion and new equipment, all shrubs and flowers must be removed. Fat owners should arrange with Tom Miller, Sexton, to take their peonies this August. Peonies left after September 1, 1953 will be removed by the Cemetery Association. Anyone stealing flowers or shrubs will be dealt with.
