Mrs Gail Chase and son Glen of Adair returned Wednesday evening. Ruth Wilkins left Thursday for Laurens Iowa to attend a sorority party at a schoolmate Miss Gilcharist. Mrs Goygo McDermott returned from Atlantic last Thursday accompanied by Miss Cory Stoodt.

Does It Mean A Double Track

Division Supt. Gibson of R Lo With Force of Engineers Making Atlantic Headquarters While Engineers are Going over Line in This District The private car of Division Superintendent Gibson of the Rock Island is in the local yards where it has been for days. A corps of engineers are overseeing ballasting and work in the district with daily excursions from the city. Rumor says the activity bets toward preparing a double track in the near future, aided by a sizable recent appropriation. Gibson will also inspect a bad road hole near the Hill crossing two and a half miles from Anita, called to the company’s attention by county attorney Whitmore.
