Budget cuts shrink local school expenses for year
Thirty years ago on July 29, 1932 the budget for local school expenditures was reduced by 3000 dollars. School expenses were only half of what they cost in 1922. J R Stuhr advertised a big store sale featuring ladies cotton hose at 13 cents a pair and ladies sport sandals at 98 cents.

A baby girl arrived July 9 to Ma and Mrs Glen Parch. The Walnut Grove Hog Remedy Co bought two new Ford coupes from Dement Bros local Ford Dealers. June was the driest month on record and July 1911 record was broken this year.
