The Congregational Church lists Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. On August 12 1951 all Christ Scientist churches study Spirit with Zechariah 4 6 as golden text. M Y F meets 2nd and 4th Fridays at 8 p m Young Adults meet 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 3 p m W to S C S meet 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2 30 p m.
Sunday School begins at 9 30 with Divine Services. Morning Worship at 9 30 and Bible School at 10 30 next Sunday. St Marys Catholic Church schedules Mass at 8 00 and Confessions at 7 30 Sunday. Rev Geo Brown speaks at 11 00 and 8 00. Bible study Thursday 2 00 and Women’s Bible study at Mrs Hoyts.
Morning worship led by J Milton Kinney with Sunday School at 10:00. Evening preaching at 8:00 with welcoming spirit. 10:00 am church school directed by Clarence Osen. Women’s quilting Wednesday afternoons. YF and MYF meetings on specified Mondays and Sundays. Circle groups meet on 2nd and 3rd Thursdays. general meeting first Thursday. Church board meets first Thursday at 7:30 pm.

Paul Steffen Sr returns from Fremont Nebraska visit. Mrs Joe Morgan of Atlantic visits Wiota. NGA Club meets with nine members and two guests Mrs Gerald Harris and Mrs Joe Schubert. Schubert joins. mystery pals gift two members. handiwork done. Mrs Ernest Harris to host in September. Claude Spry returns from Lake Okoboji trip. Spry delegates elder adult seminars linked to north Iowa Bible conference. Mrs Mike Metz departs for Denver to visit relatives. Mrs Max Denney hosts six women. contest winners named.
A hostess gift is received and Mrs Gus Hamman wins a dour prize. Mike Metz injures his thumb driving a nail into a hog trough and is treated daily for the wound.
The August 2 Thursday Kensington gathering counted seventeen members and three guests with roll call about teachers. Prizes were won by several members and plans set for a hat auction at the next meeting hosted by Mrs Palmer on August 23. Local notices cover medical updates, moves, reunions, and regional visits from Cass County communities.
Mr and Mrs K A Koon announce the birth of daughter Shirley Ann on July 19 to Rebarich of Jacksonville Florida. Mrs Carmen Koon of Anita is the mother. Freeman Brown greet a 7 pound 15 ounce boy born August 1 at 3:35 A.M. at Atlantic Memorial hospital. Carl Barbour welcomed a 10 pound 1 ounce girl born August 2 at 6:41 A.M.
Atlantic Memorial hospital guest Mrs M C Petersen of Elk Horn stayed overnight with Vernon and Lambertsen relatives Tuesday. On Wednesday she traveled with Vernon Lambertsen and Kent to Omaha. Pvt Edwin L Petersen son of Edgar and Mabel Petersen serves in Korea after leaving the U S in May. He is a messenger in the signal corps.
