Congregational Church Weekend Schedule and Faith Lesson

The Congregational Church lists Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. On August 12 1951 all Christ Scientist churches study Spirit with Zechariah 4 6 as golden text. M Y F meets 2nd and 4th Fridays at 8 p m Young Adults meet 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 3 p m W to S C S meet 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 2 30 p m.

Sunday School begins at 9 30 with Divine Services. Morning Worship at 9 30 and Bible School at 10 30 next Sunday. St Marys Catholic Church schedules Mass at 8 00 and Confessions at 7 30 Sunday. Rev Geo Brown speaks at 11 00 and 8 00. Bible study Thursday 2 00 and Women’s Bible study at Mrs Hoyts.

Thursday Kensington Meeting Notes and Local News

The August 2 Thursday Kensington gathering counted seventeen members and three guests with roll call about teachers. Prizes were won by several members and plans set for a hat auction at the next meeting hosted by Mrs Palmer on August 23. Petersen Family News From Elk Horn and Omaha Visit

Atlantic Memorial hospital guest Mrs M C Petersen of Elk Horn stayed overnight with Vernon and Lambertsen relatives Tuesday. On Wednesday she traveled with Vernon Lambertsen and Kent to Omaha. Pvt Edwin L Petersen son of Edgar and Mabel Petersen serves in Korea after leaving the U S in May. He is a messenger in the signal corps.
