Little Hope of Recovery for Baker Babe Near Armour SD
The Tribune reports Mr and Mrs Charles S Baker recently moved to a farm near Armour South Dakota whose infant child has been dangerously ill for weeks. The baby lies in a critical condition at the M E Hospital in Omaha with little hope of recovery as per the attending physician. Neighbors and friends in the area share the sorrow.

Oldest in Service Elias Hoxie on Chicago Milwaukee and Saint Paul
The Des Moines Capital notes Elias Hoxie has forty four years with the Chicago Milwaukee and Saint Paul railway and currently serves as conductor between Mc Gregor and Sanborn.
