A compendium of Sunday services, rally reminders, choir rehearsals, and club meetings from Congregational, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, and Christian Science churches. Also notes a local accident aftermath involving Karen Herrig, plus a call to turn unused articles into cash with a Tribune Want Ad.
The notice lists a 10:00 A.M. Sunday School hour 11:00 A.M. Morning Worship and 8:00 P.M. Evening Gospel hour on Sundays and 8:00 P.M. Wednesday Bible study and prayer meeting Visitors are always honored guests in all services.
Plans have been made for a summer playground for the boys and girls of Adair and surrounding community. Playground director James Rhode urges all children who wish to participate to contact him to arrange a definite program and schedule. Plans include swimming lessons through a Red Cross instructor.
Casey Gun Club met at the Casey Community building to organize the Coon Dog Field Trials set for April 27. Committees were appointed and volunteers asked to help on trial day. The Gun Club plans another meeting April 22 at the community building. Wheeler loses season opener to Elk Horn 9 8 in ten innings as Danes win on error in 10th.
The Cass County action requires owners or land controllers to destroy primary noxious weeds within five years, including quack grass and bull thistle. If noncompliant, the Weed Commissioner will perform the work and charge costs to the landowner. the County Auditor must publish notice once in each county newspaper. The resolution was adopted on April 15, 1952, with no ayes against.

Sunday School at 10 00 AM and Worship Service at 11 00 AM invite all denominations. Youth Meeting follows Sunday evening at 6 15 PM. Please arrive on time and encourage friends and members to attend.
Marvin Jurgens of Exira, about 40, confessed last Tuesday night April 15 to the mystery shooting of Peterson in Audubon County. The confession follows police questioning and completes the reported incident in the Exira area.
