National Battlefield Park Honors Civil War Dead
Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Battlefield Park, praised as a major national playground, preserves six battlefields from the Civil War era. President Coolidge dedicated it last year, with plans for extensive roads, trees, and monuments to honor 100,000 who gave their lives.
