Atlantic Board Approves Box Culvert and Coal Contract
Atlantic Iowa Board of Supervisors met in adjourned session on July 30 1923 with C A Zellmer presiding. They approved a concrete box culvert project in Lincoln township not to exceed 1000 dollars and bonds for Iowa State Bank and Herbert L Holste. They awarded 200 tons of Illinois lump coal to C P Meredith for 684 per ton delivered to the courthouse and granted an $8 72 tax rebate for Ernest Larsen. They ordered a county wide weed cutting notice and approved numerous claims and per diems for residents and officials. The meeting adjourned to August 13 1923.
