Accidental Death of Frank Pearce Shocks County
Frank Pearce, a longtime Eureka township farmer, was killed in an accident at Adair last Monday when a wagon loaded with sand was struck by a westbound train. He died shortly after at the depot. Survived by two sons John and Denison Pearce, daughter Mrs. Jas F. Furman, and siblings in Dubuque and Allison, his funeral was held at Eureka Center with burial beside his wife. An obituary will follow in next week's RECORD.

Bogey accident near East Anita injures rider and escapes debris
