The notice announces a car load of thoroughly ripe Carmel Potatoes arriving late in the week and will be sold at eighty five cents per bushel with orders left at the Farmers' Coop. It also notes Puretest Epsom Salts in two separate lines and provides a property sale reference near Elm Storer and Bongers Bros.
The Anita Commercial Club extends gratitude to all who kindly and ably assisted in making the Home-Coming a success and promises not to forget the favors shown.
The church schedules four days of meetings starting October 25 with Dr. Fred Willis, the district superintendent, attending the first quarterly conference to outline plans for the year. Prayer meeting and choir practice occur Wednesday evening, and Ladies Aid meets midweek for quilting. A Friday business meeting follows. The Sunday services feature special music and sermons on building the church and eternal life.

Public notice from Anita Town Clerk listing streets for paving assessment and costs including property owners, corrections period ending November 7 1923 and publication date October 18 1923. It specifies First Street Third Fourth Locust Elm Cherry Rose Hill Avenue and an alley in Block Nine Original Town with correction window and objection times.
The Anita Town Council orders publication of notice that the plat and schedule showing assessments for the Fourth Street and Cherry Street improvements are on file. Objections must be written within twenty days after first publication. The council will meet after the period to consider corrections and finalize assessments. Mayor H. E. Campbell approves.
The Ladies Aid Society served lunches during Home-Coming days and raised a notable sum. They plan to meet Friday afternoon at the church to continue work. Sunday services include Sunday School at 10 00 and services at 11 00 and 7 30 with special music. A baby girl was born Friday to Mr and Mrs Fred F Joy of Lincoln township. E E Munn and wife, former Anita residents, return to Mora Minnesota. A local street quarrel over adjectives on Anita’s Main street drew lively commentary.
Mr and Mrs Garrett M DeCamp marked their seventh anniversary at home Friday inviting many friends to bridge three tables and serving luncheon at midnight.
