County urged to buy right of way for Whiteway Seven
At a city hall road meeting Dr. F. J. Becker and Dave Jones urged Cass county to secure the right of way for Whiteway Seven and Primary 18 extension to the Audubon line. The highway commission controls the four million dollar cushion fund, but only the board of supervisors can purchase the right of way funded by the primary. If Cass county balks, no money from the fund for the county and no immediate road improvements, Jones warned, noting the original survey route must be followed.
