Former Anita resident Mrs Campbell dies in Des Moines
Mrs. R. H. Campbell, 60, longtime Anita area resident, died from a heart attack at her Des Moines home 331 Forty-first Street on March 21 1928. She is survived by her husband two sons and two daughters and several relatives. Funeral services were held at the M E church in Anita with interment in Adair cemetery beside two children deceased in infancy. An unusually large gathering of old friends and neighbors attended.

Marie Blunk Rites Held In Wiota For Illness Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Blunk wife of Hans C Blunk were held at 3 30 Sunday at An ita M E church after an illness of one week due to pleuro pneumonia. Born January 13 1861 in Schleswig Germany she came to the United States in 1882 and lived in Cass and Clinton counties before settling in Wiota. Survived by husband three children Werner Blunk Emil Blunk and Miss Emilie Blunk and six grandchildren. Brother Hans Hussmann of Atlantic also survives.

Rock Island Lineman Injured When Car Spills
C N Burton lineman for Rock Island railway company with headquarters at Atlantic was badly hurt Saturday evening on his way home from Anita when the railway motorcycle he rode dumped near the Voorhees estate after hitting a dog. He suffered a fractured arm at the right wrist joint a dislocated thumb and bruises and was treated at Dr H E Campbell hospital in Anita. He will be out for weeks from his duties.
