The Cass County Iowa Board of Supervisors met by adjournment on December 16 1919 in Atlantic. The minutes show a motion to pay open road work at the same rate as road work during snow drifts with votes for Bode Zellmer and Bell and against Metz Highley. A long list of claims was examined and allowed including pensions for Lillie Anderson Clara Bailey Myrtle Doty Ella Burns Florence Jones and others. purchases for coal lumber supplies and bridge work. various road and court house costs. and services from H. J. Dimig Liston Hall Jno Edwards Educational Pub Co Le Mars Printing Co and Atlantic Hospital among others. Auditor authorized to issue warrants for the approved claims.
