Special notice states the Anita-Atlantic Concert Band will not perform in Anita until Tuesday evening, June 5, with weekly concerts on Tuesdays thereafter. The band has a largely new repertoire and will require extra rehearsal to deliver the best possible music.

S. E. Goodrich was a Record caller Saturday. Clyde J. Pratt, recently moved from Gillett's Grove Iowa to Paoli Colorado, where he farms, spent a few days in the city with his parents Mr and Mrs R C Pratt. W E Kellaway and family were Atlantic visitors Sunday. Anita's popular teachers Miss dna Carey and Vera Currier have gone to Des Moines College for three months vacation study.
Oren Burns was a business visitor in Atlantic Friday. Chas. M. Blakesley left Thursday for an extended trip through the eastern states to Toledo Ohio to visit his daughter Mrs Lew J Boyd and accompany home his wife and daughter Evangeline who are already there. O N Pierce and family spent Saturday in Atlantic. Mrs Vinnie Aldrich and children of Hamburg have been visiting Anita with Chas A Thompson and wife. The Aldrich family are moving to Des Moines where Fred has a position with the Ginsburg firm.
Mrs. Claude Blakesley and daughter from Gowrie spent Sunday in Anita. Geo. L. Currier of Audubon visited the city as guest of his son Roscoe and daughter Miss Vera. George Currier works for his brother A. M. Currier who runs harness and shoe business in Audubon.
Howard Marshall of Atlantic was in the city Saturday. N. C. Burkhart, long at Mission Texas, returned to Anita Friday and will stay through the summer. Newt enjoys Texas but also loves other parts of the country.
Co G Svordman of Clearwater Minnesota came to Wiota on Saturday for business in his old home town. Col in real estate work there is gaining fame for promoting Minnesota as the only country. Miss Leone Rhoads daughter of Mr and Mrs W C Rhoads of this city finished the Nurses Training course in Cedar Rapids and plans a Chicago post graduate course after visiting Anita and nearby.
