County Supervisors Set Pay and Budgets in January Session
The Board of Supervisors met in Atlantic on January C 1920 approving C. FE Brown as bridge foreman for April to November at 160 dollars per month. They adopted a payroll system, authorized biweekly warrants, approved TH. S. Williams as county engineer at 250 dollars monthly, and invited bids for a 1 ton truck. They appointed Dorothy Paulsen as 1st Deputy Treasurer with a 1000 dollar bond and retained G. A. Van Brocklin as 2nd Deputy Treasurer at 90 dollars monthly.
