Freibert Richard Weise born June 22 1881 near Colburg Germany died July 4 1920 at Mercy Hospital Iowa City after an appendicitis gall stones operation. He lived in Cass County farmed, ran City Bakery, later moved to Iowa City and farmed northwest of the city. Survived by wife, adopted son three years old, parents and five brothers and one sister. Funeral at Hohenschue-Donohoe Mortuary Iowa City conducted by Rev Brunner. Interment in Iowa City cemetery.
