Local Notes From Anita and Vicinity
Gs F White the recorder left his check in payment for the home paper. Henry Schaake of Valley Junction visited Anita last week to see his brothers and sister J H Schaake and Chas Schaake and Miss Lena Schaake. Miss Viola Lees of Valley Junction spent the past week in the city with her father Frank Lees. Mr and Mrs H G Stuart entertained sixteen guests at dinner with Mrs Stuarts sisters and their families. Supervisor Mike Metz of Wiota attended official business in Anita and nearby areas Thursday. R W Calkins who has been at the U S Sanitarium Hot Springs SD will spend a few months in Anita with his daughter Mrs J A Wagner.
