Golden Wedding Anniversary at Wiota

About seventy five guests from four states Iowa Missouri Kansas and Nebraska attended bringing baskets for a noon dinner and gifts including 85 in gold. Skelgas Coming to Anita by Skelley Oil Company

Don Gaughenbaugh, field representative, toured Anita and rural districts to introduce Skelgas, a pure natural gas from Texas wells in 375 hour containers, delivered anywhere. He says price will be similar to manufactured gas in Des Moines and smaller cities and local businessmen are enthusiastic as a local manager is to be chosen.

W. H. Wagner and his wife with son Wayne and daughter Marian left Sunday for a west coast journey by automobile. They plan many stops, traveling through Denver and Salt Lake City, then along the southwest route to southern California and returning via Oklahoma.
