John W Berry aged ninety was honored Sunday March 29 1925 at Anita at the home of his daughter Mrs J D Peterson The pioneer born in 1835 Illinois helped develop Cass and Iowa farms accumulating 500 acres He married Harriet Bell in 1859 and ten children were born five survive The old settler is praised as an excellent citizen loyal to Iowa and its progress, with descendants and friends paying tribute.
