Will Erect Episcopal Church at Andrews
A meeting last week approved plans to build an Episcopal church in Andrews costing about 5000 dollars. A committee of H. K. Ward and A. K. Parsons will raise a third, the church membership another third, and the rest may come from the church building fund. The lot is owned by the church and lies opposite Mr. A. A. May’s home. completion will aid town growth and serve a growing Episcopal community. Plans should be ready by summer.

Widow of Dr Adolphus H Frierson Dies in South Carolina
Mrs Isabelle Frierson, widow of Dr Adolphus H Frierson of Lynchburg South Carolina, died unexpectedly at her daughter’s home east of Kingstree Saturday afternoon in her eightieth year. She leaves seven children and two sisters and was buried in Lynchburg beside her husband who died about thirty years ago.

Concrete Works Begin Operation in Andrews
One of the latest enterprises in Andrews is the Andrews Cement and Concrete Co. owned by Fred Brooks. The firm on the Tobacco warehouses block currently makes cement blocks for a new tobacco warehouse and will supply blocks for Main street store rooms opposite the Presbyterian church and a dwelling for Mr Owens of the Union Mercantile Co. The concrete works will boost local construction and keep builders busy once the tobacco warehouse is finished.
