Drainage Plan Favored at Andrews Town Hall Meeting
Citizens of Andrews met at the Town Hall to discuss a drainage project. Captain Fischer of the U S Board of Health outlined a plan costing about 12 000 with nine thousand paid by the city and the rest from government funds to eliminate mosquitoes by drainage of standing water within a half mile of the city limits.

S A L Shop Boilers Repaired
Seaboard Air Line shops in this town have overhauled two 200 horsepower stationary boilers. A locomotive engine supplied steam for shop and city lighting during repairs. The boilers will be back in service early next week and power should be more reliable, with a possible daily 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. shutoff if needed.
