The report notes weak prospects for U S cotton sales with Sweden Sweden Sweden Italy and France all reducing or delaying purchases. Italy may need 40 000 to 50 000 bales and Sweden around 70 000 this year versus 120 000 to 170 000 in normal years. Many spindles idle and Holland demand looks dim.

Rev. J. T. Rhodes filled his regular appointment at Suttons Sunday. Mr. R. P. Hinnant Jr. went to Georgetown Monday. Mr. G Parsons attended business in Monday. W. N. Wilson was in Andrews Friday on business. John Wiggins from Darlington spent last Tuesday with relatives at Suttons.
