DeAnn Gainey earned third in the 7-9 distance races, Skeeter Simoneau won the 7-9 quarter mile, Harrison took second, Mike Hanes third, Mickey Munsell fourth. Two Hurt In Accident Involving Motorcycle and Car
Two persons were hurt in a motorcycle car accident Sunday afternoon. Max Wayne Williams age 19 was hospitalized at Permian General for a possible dislocated leg and other injuries after his bike collided with a 1969 car driven by Terry Brackeen. Sue Lockhart age 17 was treated for minor cuts and bruises and released. Both vehicles reportedly switched lanes. No charges filed.
