Woman Receives Burns In Bath Fire At Andrews Home
An Andrews woman suffered second and third degree burns when a bath fire started by cleaning clothes with gasoline in the tub ignited by a heater. Mrs. Jimmy Cotten was taken to Permian General Hospital in satisfactory condition. About 6 p.m. the blaze at 509 NW Ave D caused roughly 1000 dollars in damage to the bathroom fixtures with smoke damage. Firefighters from both units battled the flames for about 15 minutes.
