Final Rites Held For Ruby Pilgrim
Ruby Mae Pilgrim, 69, died after four weeks as a patient at Andrews Convalescent Hospital. A Breckenridge native with ties to Abilene and Mineral Wells, she was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church. Funeral services were held in Abilene with Dr. Hamlin officiating, graveside rites at Sturdivant Cemetery in Mineral Wells, and survivors include her husband Rufus Pilgrim, two sons, three sisters, a brother, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Services red Saturday For Odis Hardin
Funeral services for Odis Neal Hardin were held Saturday at 3 p m in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Grissom officiating. Hardin died Friday morning at Permian General Hospital from a heart attack. He lived on the southwest boundary route and had 19 years in Andrews as a maintenance operator for Andrews County. He was a longtime resident, a native of Eastland County, and married Lola Mears July 9 1937 in Loraine. Survivors include his wife two daughters five sisters and five brothers.
