Wild Ride Ends In Flying Crash Near Andrews
A Saturday crash one mile west of Andrews on the Kermit highway involved Ron Nile Sisco and passenger Jommy Glaze. Sisco, 21, was charged with driving while intoxicated after the vehicle left the road, rolled, and flew into the air, ending on its top. Both occupants were treated. a cottontail rabbit was killed.

A traditional Armistice Day dinner was held at the Community Building on November 11 honoring Andrews World War I veterans and auxiliary members. Twenty one attended with an average age of 72 and total age 1482. W. N. Tole was elected commander and T. P. Stafford quartermaster. The local unit notes November 1 remains Armistice Day, and includes 17 veterans of the first world war.

Boy Scout Fund Drive Kicks Off With Breakfast
The Boy Scout fund drive opened Tuesday at 7 a.m. with a breakfast in the Community Building. Thirty seven campaign workers attended as James Craddock served as general chairman and Carl Corbin as Buffalo Trail Council assistant scout executive. Major gifts are led by Bert Smith and special gifts by Joe Weatherby. The breakfast was donated by Gene Irwin and crew, with groceries from Piggly Wiggly H&D Foods Henny Penny Baldridge Mrs Baird's Bread and Gandy's Milk.
