An Andrewsan and a former Andrewson were elected chairmen of the two division of mathematics teachers who organized during the Texas State Teachers Association convention in Odessa over the weekend. Jerald Robinson of Andrews Junior High was named chairman of the junior high division with Dalton Criswell of Andrews named co chairman, Aaron McCrackin formerly of Andrews now of Midland will chair the high school division with Kenneth Williamson of Andrews to serve as secretary.

School Board Approves Junior High Opportunity Class Expansion
The school board approved the expansion of Junior High Opportunity Classes for next year adding seventh graders and electives. Boxing Meet Set Here at Boys Club Saturday
A boxing tournament will be held at the Boys Club from 8 to 12 p.m. Saturday with admission of 1 for adults and 75 cents for children. Boxers from Andrews Lubbock Odessa Amarillo and Midland will compete led by Andrew Maxie Ross Rodriguez and the Gonzales brothers Jamie George Joe and Roger.
