Paving Slated on Fullerton Road
Judge Ramsey announced work on a county road from Frankel City to the Andrews Eunice highway will start next week. The paved road will serve the Stanolind Gasoline plant and provide a westward outlet to Eunice and the Fullerton Post Office. Estimated cost is about 14000 dollars.

Officers and directors were elected at the Andrews Country Club meeting in the courthouse. Johnny Smith became president and M. L. Everts the secretary while Charles Dean was named treasurer. Four directors named for one and two year terms include Max Ramsey Charles Thorpe N N Jones C V Campbell Chas Carruth and Jake Roach. A nine hole course east of town with sand greens is planned with groundwork to start this week. Charter membership ended yesterday at $30 joint later members pay $36.

Funeral Services Held For Mrs Rushing
Mrs. Sue Beatrice Rushing aged 50 died February 24 after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p m in Longview Texas with Dr. Ford of the First Baptist Church officiating. She is survived by two sons Ralph of Rayville Texas and Pat of Monahans Texas, four sisters and three brothers plus her father C W Sanders of Artesia New Mexico.
