Resident's Father Dies in Lamesa
Services were held Tuesday for Wesley Edward Nichols 72 father of Charles Nichols of Atte. Nichols died Sunday in a hospital after a long illness. Rites at Second Baptist Church. Burial in Lamesa Memory Park. Born in Mills County he moved to Howard County in 1847 then to Dawson County in 1936. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include the widow three daughters and three sons with siblings and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
