Atlanta man buries railroad box car for family fallout shelter
T J Sutherland of Atlanta bought a railroad box car at a navy surplus sale and plans to bury it in his yard. He says commercial shelters are too small for a family of eight and notes his six children influenced the decision.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. J. H. Martin of Lamesa at the Assembly of God Church with interment in Lamesa Cemetery. She, 69, died suddenly Wednesday in a Lamesa hospital. Survived by three daughters and four sons, 14 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
