Fifteen Registration Cards Presented To Cub Scouts at Meeting
At the Andrews County Cub Scout Pack regular meeting in the Junior High School Cafeteria at 8 p.m. Thursday May 26 Cubmaster N N Jones presented registration cards to fifteen cubs and Bobcat pins to six new Cubs. Den 5 displayed rubber powered planes and held a plane race won by Jerry McPherson. Den 4 showed May handicraft including model planes and a two foot by one foot dirigible. Den 3 staged a boxing sport exhibition with two draws. Next Pack Meeting is a picnic at City Park on June 29 with a swimming contest or baseball game between Dens. The group is sponsored by the Lions Club with three dens and 25 members. Den Mothers are Mrs R Cunningham Den 3 Florey Mrs McPherson Den 4 and Mrs Berry Den 5 in Andrews.
