Cessna 182 Totals In Pasture Forced Landing Near Ellison Tow
A Cessna 182 owned by Pat Ballew of Seminole was totaled in a forced landing in a pasture near the Ellison Tow ranch house late Wednesday afternoon. Pilot Pappy Hoffman of Seminole and passengers James Farmer of Seminole and Neely Wright of Odessa escaped injury as the plane hit a ditch and flipped upside down, then was removed by a flatbed truck and found to be extensively damaged.

New Sports Award Given at Barbecue
The sports committee of the Chamber of Commerce awarded an outstanding sport certificate to Track Coach Moody Conner for January.
