Rev O C Curtis of Perryton former pastor of Andrews and Seminole First Baptist Churches will lead a revival at the South Seminole Baptist Church starting Sunday March 27 and running through March 6 The new church building has an opening and cornerstone program at 3 00 pm Sunday The revival services are at 10 00 am and 7 30 pm daily Sam Malone former Seminole Sentinel editor serves as pastor.
Funeral services were held Monday February 21 for Warren Dale Smith Jr infant son of Mr and Mrs Warren Smith at Singleton Funeral Chapel with Rev Eugene Brand reading the rites. He died February 5 after birth and is survived by parents one sister Betty Lou and grandparents C R Robertson Seagraves and C W West Wilmore Kansas. Burial was in Andrews Cemetery.
The Wesleyan Service Guild will hold its first regular meeting Monday February 28 at 7 30 P M in the Methodist Church. Mrs Alice Robertson will perform a violin solo with Mrs Raymond Van Zandt leading the pledge service. February members become charter members.
A fourteen year old runaway girl from Oklahoma was held here by order from her parents in Maude Oklahoma. She was released to her brother Monday who carried her back home. Her name was Alma Gregory.
The W M S of the First Baptist Church met with Mrs. Charles Goodall and Mrs. Cora Heath presiding. Attendees included Mesdames Bramlee Heath Jackson Galloway Nix Walker Joe Walker Floyd Hudson and the hostess. The next meeting will be at Mrs. D C Nix's home.
Notice states a regular Red Cross meeting in the Commissioners Courtroom Friday at 7 30 P M. It invites all volunteers to gather at Muse Cafe Tuesday at 8 30 A M for coffee and discusses a Red Cross wheelcock on the courthouse lawn showing fund drive progress.

Mrs. J C Patterson, a polio patient from Odessa, gave birth Monday to a two pound baby boy in Hendrick Memorial Hospital maternity ward. The infant remains in an incubator as the parents, married last May, await a name. Patterson's case is funded by the March of Dimes drive via the Ector County Infantile Paralysis chapter.

Fort Stockton clinched the district 5-A basketball title by edging Denver City 49 47 in Andrews.
